Benoni Head Office
Situated in the residential area of Farrarmere, Benoni, Getpix offers the entire spectrum of courses. This is the head office and central booking line for all tuition. We have an extremely high rate of students returning for more and more courses as their passion and expertise grows.
We offer a personalized approach to each and every course, with a maximum of 7 students per class. Our 2 classrooms are user friendly, doing away with formalities as we believe interaction is key.
Our studio is used for the monthly Studio Course and is also available for rent, on a half day basis, equipped with the necessary lighting and backdrop requirements.
The gardens lend themselves to the practical break away sessions that form part of each and every photographic course.
Sandton

After constant requests, to open further branches, Getpix opened a 3rd branch in Parkmore, Sandton.
The Field and Study Centre, close to Sandton City, currently offers many varied courses ranging from language tuition to pottery. Set in these vast tranquil grounds, Getpix offers Beginners and Intermediate Photography courses. In addition, we offer Photoshop for beginners and advanced users. Our courses run during the evenings and Saturdays to allow new students the opportunity to study at a time which is convenient to them.
The Field and Study Centre, formally Driefontein farm, was built in 1937, by owners Philip and Emma Arnold. It is located next to the Braamfontein Spruit and stables which allows our students the opportunity to put into practice, in each lesson, what has been learnt in theory in class.
This venue provides a ‘Place for the Soul’.
The history of the land on which the Centre stands – The Farm ‘Driefontein” - can be traced back to 1859 when land transactions were first formalized by the Govt. It was 280.558morgan in extent with the Braamfontein spruit running through it. In 1888 it was divided into 9 portions. It had subsequent owners but in 1937 Philip and Emma Arnold bought approx. 40 acres and with the help of some labourers, built the stately, current house themselves.
