Getpix Images and The Wine Show are delighted to announce the winners of the "Wine Laid Bare" photographic competition.
Our thanks go to the three judges, Laetitia Kenny (APSSA), Bruce Helps (APSSA), and Garyth Bevan (Stellenbosch Academy of Design and Photography) for giving their time and input on this project.
The judges were asked to select their 12 favourite photographs for inclusion in the calendar to be sold at The Wine Show Jo'burg (www.wineshow.co.za) alongside an exhibition of the photographic entries. A second round of judging was then conducted based purely on photographic merit (thus removing the need for variety in the calendar) and 3 "winners" were chosen. Interestingly all 3 "winners" from this round had also featured in the selected photos for the calendar.

Laetitia Kenny, who specializes in incredible studio and studio montage photography has provided professional critique to her choice of top 5 photographs. We shall email these comments to those 5 photographers.
It was an absolute pleasure to host this competition and view such awesome photographs. The creativity and adaptation to the theme was phenomenal.
