Small-Group Photography Tour Booking & Cancellation Policy – GETPIX Tours

At GETPIX Photography Tours, we love keeping our small-group tours special and stress-free. We carefully plan every tour around the confirmed number of travellers to ensure a seamless experience.

How it works:

  • Once your booking is confirmed and supplier deposits are paid, your spot is secured.
  • If you cancel before supplier deposits are paid (or within 60 days of booking), only your initial deposit is forfeited.
  • Cancellations after deposits are paid are liable for the full tour cost, unless we can find another traveller to take your place.
  • We always strive to fill cancelled spots so your fellow travellers aren’t affected.

This approach ensures everyone enjoys their photography tour at the agreed price, while last-minute changes don’t disrupt the group.

Morocco is alive with colour and character. We will wander through Marrakech’s souks with spices piled high, photographing intricate mosaics and patterns at every turn, and patiently wait for the golden light to strike the desert dunes.

This magical country offers bustling markets, blue-washed streets, ancient kasbahs, and dramatic mountain and desert landscapes. Capturing artisans at work, (is one of my favourites), vibrant textiles fluttering in the wind, and the warmth of Moroccan hospitality that welcomes us in.

We all have seen images of the camel shadows against the Sahara and the winding lanes of medieval medinas, Morocco is a feast for both our cameras and our soul. It is a place where every doorway tells a story, every alley reveals new colours, and every sunset is fiery orange.

Our tour to the Karoo included a stop to Zanchieta along the way. I really liked this stop, it was excellent. Graaff Reinett and Nieu Bethesda were good choices of places to photograph.  Paula is a great driver and does not speed. Our accommodation was really varied and nice and my overall experience was very lovely. My photographs are fantastic.

Karoo Photo Tour

I enjoyed the Karoo trip and thought we all got on well. Paula is an efficient driver and I was very happy with the route as it was well planned.( Maybe next time Bethulie and Gariep as well) . I like shooting landscapes and astrophotography but I appreciated that our group also had interests in animal, people and architecture photography along the way. Your tour offered a good variety and I was happy with your knowledge of the areas we visited.

I have been on 2 international tours with Getpix to India and Turkey. Both itineraries were filled with photographic opportunities. The group established a bond that has lasted a lifetime. The accommodation was spot on to the cities and exceeded my expectations. The local guides were so helpful and we explored everything possible through our lenses, especially each destination's culture. To this day I can't believe my own images that I have captured through adrenaline flowing and Paula well, always ready to help me with my camera settings. Thank you, Paula, for what you have and still mean to me.

India & Turkey Photo Tour

The trip was amazing, and jam packed with activities from start to finish, great company, excellent driver and amazing accommodation. The trip there was packed with activities, a trip normally taking 3 hours had us arriving at 5pm having stopped off at every possible place of interest along the way and all very special in their own way, they all offered loads of photo opportunities and learning experiences. The town itself is so beautiful with beautiful views and amazing sunsets. This little historic town boast loads of houses dating back to the time of the discovery of gold, many of them very historic and authentic, I was very lucky to have stayed in one of the original buildings with corrugated iron walls. Lucky for me I got to admire the beautiful stained glass chapel which was very close to my room, every time I left the room to go anywhere.

I really enjoyed the trips into the beautiful forests in search of the wild horses, the scenery, hiking the hills, trip to the escarpment overlooking Barberton were all amazing and let’s not forget the trip to Chimp Eden sanctuary. The meals were really delicious and of course sipping sun downers watching the sun setting behind the hills was truly magnificent! Even the trip back offered some historic sites to visit. Thank you so much for the amazing trip, we really need to do that again.
